Welcome to the admissions process at Casa Montessori & Orff School. We’re excited that you’re considering our school for your child’s education. Our process is designed to help you learn more about our programs and ensure that we’re the right fit for your family.

How to Apply

Step 1: Submit an Inquiry Form

Fill out an inquiry form on our website, in person, or by mail. This helps us understand your child’s needs and answer any initial questions you may have.

Step 2: Attend an Information Session 

Join one of our virtual information sessions.

Step 3: Book A Tour 

Book an in-person tour! Come and see our programs in action!

Step 4

(Elementary: Your child comes for 1 hour visit)

You’ll meet our staff, explore our classrooms, and experience our Montessori and Orff approaches first-hand.

Elementary: your child gets a feel for the school and the teachers get to visit with your child.

Step 5: Complete the Application Form

Submit a completed application form along with the non-refundable application fee of $150. Applications can be submitted online.


Elementary: submit a report card with the application form

Step 6: Confirmation in the Elementary and Next Steps for All Programs

Once we receive your application and non-refundable application fee. 

Elementary: You’ll be contacted to confirm a spot for your child and receive further instructions for completing the enrollment process.

Toddler and Early Childhood: You will receive further instructions for completing the enrollment process.

Infant: We will call you to let you know the next date of availability.

Program Fees

We offer flexible programs to suit your family’s needs. Below is a summary of our fee structure.

Infant Program( Ages 0-2)

Year Your Program

  • Full days $1,900.00

  • 3 Full days $1,170.00

  • 2 Full days $830.00

    • Each half-hour extension for Infant/Toddler: An additional $820.00 per year 

Toddler Program (Ages 2–3)

Year Round

  • 5 Full Days: $1,600/month

  • 3 Full Days: $985/month

  • 2 Full Days: $775/month

    • Each half-hour extension for Infant/Toddler: An additional $820.00 per year 

Early Childhood Program

(Ages 3–6)

  • 5 Full Days: $1,320/month

  • 5 Half Days: $750/month

    • Each half-hour extension for Early Childhood: An additional $640.00 per year 

Elementary Program

(Ages 6–12)

  • 5 Full Days: $1,260/month

Note:  

  • Each half-hour extension for Elementary: An additional $640.00 per year 

  • Elementary bus fees to be determined

Daily Life in the Early Childhood Classroom

A typical day in the Early Childhood program balances structure with freedom, ensuring children can thrive in a supportive environment.

Morning /Afternoon Work Cycle

Children and parents  are greeted by a teacher at the beginning of each morning.Children independently choose activities that align with their developmental needs, guided by trained educators. Activities range from practical life tasks like pouring and sweeping to art.language ,and math, geography, zoology, botany  exercises and a visit to the music room.

Children practice grace and courtesy as they have prepare and serve snacks at a time of for   themselves and their peers. when they want to. Children bring a snack from home.

 Group Time

 At the beginning of each morning  We have  a Community Meeting  where songs, music, and presentations of new activities  unite the classroom, fostering connection and joy.

Outdoor Play

Time for running, climbing, and exploring in our secure outdoor learning space, which promotes physical health and a connection to nature.Children have two or three plays outdoors.

Lunch Time

Children bring a packed lunch from home. They help prepare the classroom for lunch. Teachers will also sit and have lunch with the children encouraging  grace and courtesy with eating at the table.

Music Room

Throughout the morning children may choose to go into the music room if numbers allow . In the music room children sing, play  all kinds of percusiion instruments such as shakers, tappers etc,, barred instruments which include all types of xylophones,  learn  music theory, . learn to write music and study classical composers

Nap Time

For children who need a nap , nap is available after lunch in the music room

Afternoon work Cycle

This work cycle is similar to the morning. It also allows for a greater focus on following through with an activity that was started earlier on.

Outdoor Classroom

Children use our secret garden as an outdoor work space. They plant , dig, take care of and enjoy this work space when the weather allows  

Nature Walks

Children go on regular  guided nature walks around the school where we have some beautiful natural landscapes.

Montessori Curriculum Overview 

  • Practical Life
    Tasks like buttoning shirts or cleaning spills teach responsibility and build confidence. Skills such as tying shoelaces, setting a table, and caring for plants teach children responsibility and self-reliance.

  • Language
    Phonics-based activities, early journaling, and storytelling spark curiosity and develop communication skills.

  • Cultural Studies
    Children explore geography, history, and biology through interactive activities and group discussions.

  • Sensorial Activities
    Materials like the Pink Tower and Brown Stairs enhance  the visual. sense.Colour tablets and sound cylinders refine sensory discrimination and prepare children for advanced concepts in math and science.

  • Mathematics
    Golden beads, fraction puzzles, and other materials help children grasp abstract concepts through hands-on exploration.

  • Art /Music
    Art projects and daily Orff sessions nurture creativity and self-expression.
