Day Camp

Day Camp

Our summer program starts in early July following the end of our regular school year and runs for six consecutive weeks. It is available to families currently enrolled in our preschool and Kindergarten program.

The program consists of the basic Montessori materials and many art activities, free play, games and music to complement the weekly themes. The Montessori philosophy of developing independence and showing respect for the self and others will remain consistent. Added to that will be a focus on outdoor exploration – walks, gardening, picnics, water play and enjoying our beautiful summer weather.

2019 Summer Day Camp Schedule

Location: 1055 Wilkes Avenue

Dates:

July 8 – July 19 – Mad Science

July 22 – August 2 – Super Kids love Super Foods

August 6 – August 16 – Imagination Camp

During all 3 sessions children will have many opportunities to spend time in our outdoor classroom and Secret Garden (planting, weeding, watering, etc).

Casa Summer Program maintains a caring and thoughtfully prepared environment while providing many unique individual and group experiences for the children. Although many activities are different from those during the school year, the same Montessori principles of independence and courtesy towards others are encouraged. We are planning plenty of exciting outdoor activities, crafts and games and look forward to a summer full of fun and unique experiences. Hope to see you there!
